A coaching tool that uses developmental stage tasks to improve parenting and problem solving skills.
 
Developed by Dr Jean Illsley Clarke and Dr Connie Dawson, the Developmental Parenting Highway is an expansion of Baumrind’s parenting styles.
 
The Developmental Parenting Highway evolved from their collective work in self-esteem, resilience, attachment, and trauma. Clarke’s work on the Highway is recognized on the Walk of Discovery at the University of Minnesota.

Role-play and use case studies to explore the Highway and learn to build custom roadmaps for adults and children. 
 
Learning Objectives

• Identify the four healthy lanes of the Highway. 
• Apply the Highway as a problem-solving tool in parenting and self-care. 
• Develop a customized Highway Map based on the needs of an individuals in a family.
